pillows and blankets of summertime whispers

-the ones we like to go back to
every once in a while
4. In our palms,
painted over purple nail polish
5. In pictures,
notes, colored pencils, strawberries, hair ties and lemonade
ie: things we keep in the back of
our mind until the next rainy day
